Designed to get people connecting, creating and collaborating, ClayDates with Arti is an eco-friendly workshop centred around the joys of clay sculpting.
In this workshop, participants will:
1. Learn how to build clay sculptures with the very simple, yet professionally regarded, “coiling” technique (using non-toxic and biodegradable DAS clay)
2. Paint their sculptures once dry with surplus / unwanted nail polishes – there will be plenty provided, but feel free to bring your own!
3. Decorate the finished sculpture with dried flowers (salvaged from weddings and florists)
The aim of the workshop is to foster community amongst creative souls, so I encourage participants to be inspired by each other. Does somebody else at the workshop have tattoos that caught your eye? Gorgeous brows? A really cool hat? Include them in your sculpture – and you could even gift the finished piece to your muse as a festival memento.
