Rick Tomlinson is a multi-instrumentalist who first appeared at Supersonic as Voice of the Seven Woods back in 2006.
More recently he’s been holed up in the hills of the South Pennines, releasing the occasional LP on his own Voix imprint, the latest being a collaborative album with Ben Chasny (Six Organs of Admittance). Wander in and zone out: sharing some of his favourite records, you’ll hear a collage of modal explorations and obscure acoustic instrumentals, heavy broken rhythms, delicate vibrations and more.
