Between hushed incantations and molten guitars, noise-rock epics and healing psalms, the music of Silver Moth is a testament to connectivity and receptivity: to a union of disparate minds committing to something greater than the sum of its parts.
The collective is made up of Stuart Braithwaite from Mogwai, Elisabeth Elektra, Ash Babb, Steven Hill, Ben Roberts and Matthew Rochford. A meeting of musical minds that draws from post-punk, poetry and Celtic mythology, this new seven-piece have created a mesmerising and forceful initial output. Locked together in the purgative power and communion of loud music, Silver Moth have founded something truly special.
“…something quite beautiful. The noise-rock seven-piece features Elisabeth Elektra and Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite, and like the band’s namesake, their sound is nocturnal, fleeting through the dark in search of light.” – The Skinny
