Matters formed in late 2015 in the old industrial space of Digbeth, Birmingham. Difficult to categorise, elements of techno, psychedelic and trance swirl together to weave a dark, driving, all-encompassing sound that shifts from film score to basement nightclub to industrial noise.
Intent on being a live band from the start, rather than a studio project, Matters’ live shows are intense, featuring self-created lights and visuals where possible, seamlessly moving from one track to the next to create an immersive experience.
