A Talisman can bring good luck, manifest positivity, offer protection and serve as a message or reminder to ourselves or others. Decide on a message or slogan before crafting your own ‘Message Talisman’ from materials provided. These could be a protest message, a poetic phrase, a cry for social change, a song lyric, or a personal mantra. Collaged text, labels and stickers will be encased in a plastic case adorned with ribbons, threads, pom-poms, beads and gems to create a kitsch contemporary folk-inspired keepsake. The finished talisman has a clip and can be used as a key chain, bag charm, or decoration, hung and displayed wherever you choose.
