EVENTS

“The biggest mistake Pokko’s parents ever made was giving her the drum…”
It’s a thought that has crossed the minds of many a parent! And it will be our starting point as we set off to make a right old racket in celebration of The Heath Bookshop’s inaugural Literature & Music festival, jumping in with both feet providing drums, tambourines, costumes and performance rights to a lovely bunch of animals ..ahem.. we mean children, to create a fitting procession / performance inspired by Matthew Forsythe’s fantastic book Pokko & The Drum.
P.s we promise there will be no eating of band members.

Here’s how to get involved:

Pokko & The Drum Workshop Sat 20th April 11.30am – 4.30pm
