Created by the UK’s premiere experimental music festival, Supersonic Kids Gigs are designed for families as a way of introducing children to experimental music – BIG sounds for little people!
At a Mermaid Chunky gig, you can expect an atmosphere filled with energy, chaos, and humour. Their live performances are full of spontaneity and interaction with the crowd, with members often engaging in playful antics, encouraging audience participation, and creating a sense of unity through shared absurdity. The band’s ability to merge their eclectic sound with a fun, inclusive vibe makes their shows an unforgettable experience.
The band perform in a range of colourful, elaborate and sometimes bizarre costumes that match their wild sonic identity. This visual element adds an extra layer of entertainment, making each live show a spectacle that goes beyond just the music.
