Created by the UK’s premiere experimental music festival, Supersonic Kids Gigs are designed for families as a way of introducing children to experimental music – BIG sounds for little people!
After entertaining us in the virtual realm, Ben Sadler (of Juneau Projects) will be joining us in the real world to bring families joy this December for our festive special. This Kids Gig will be hosted by everyone’s favourite alt-rocker and pyscho-storyteller, Anna Palmer from Dorcha.
Ben Sadler is an artist who lives in a house with his wife Katy, their daughter Hazel and their three-legged cat Oscar. He has a suitcase full of wigs and costumes that he likes to wear to accompany his covers of popular songs. He also enjoys dancing and believes he can do magic. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire the Ben team! (PS he lives in Birmingham).
“I love the depth of the performances, and the willingness to show kids exciting and beautiful music without worrying about it being over explained. Today’s performance from Ben was especially funny! A hit for the kids and parents for sure. The show was expertly hosted by Anna with infectious enthusiasm and timing.”
