Haress invite you to bring your voices and be part of the Skylark Ensemble. They will play new pieces which will form around a human drone and a repeated vocal chorus. Haress would like you to join them and make a joyous happening.
All instruction given – no previous experience necessary, just the desire to be part of it. Body, ears. eyes and or voices.
Haress are a collective of musicians based in the Shropshire Hills around the core duo of guitarists Elizabeth Still and David Hand. Their music is rooted in the feel and tradition of British folk but expands out of any genre boundaries through the use of improvisation, texture and amplification. Their most recent album “Ghosts” was released on Wrong Speed Records in 2022 to much acclaim and sees the duo expanded to include members of Sweet Williams, Hey Colossus, Kling Klang and Lungfish.
