BBC Radio 6 Music’s flagship experimental music show – The Freak Zone – is once again thrilled to be part of Supersonic Festival. Now in its third gloriously chaotic year, the Freak Zone Pub Quiz has become a much-loved festival tradition. Hosted by the show’s presenter (and Celebrity Mastermind winner) Stuart Maconie, this is your chance to test your outsider music knowledge in a battle of wits, weirdness and obscure sonic trivia.
Expect challenging rounds covering everything from Scandinavian jazz to noise rock, with plenty of laughs, leftfield facts, and a generous helping of mischief. Don’t miss it – and don’t forget to revise!
