Deerhoof speak in a secret code in which hooks abound, genre is nonexistent, and magic ever awaits us.
The fiercely DIY band have been producing avant-garde carnivals since their humble beginnings as an obscure San Francisco noise act. They’ve become one of indie music’s most influential bands with their ecstatic and unruly take on pop where Satomi Matsuzaki plays bass and sings, Greg Saunier plays drums, John Dieterich and Ed Rodriguez play guitars. They’ll be bringing their joyous Deerhoofian nuggets of melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic gold to the Castle & Falcon and we cannot wait.

Support comes from Blythe Blade who are a queer hardcore punk band from Birmingham, UK. For fans of G.L.O.S.S, Flesh Creep and Transistrrr, bringing energetic riffs, unapologetic lyrics and a chaotic stage presence from the 0121 DIY queercore scene.
