Sally Pilkington and Richard Dawson (1/2 of Hen Ogledd) started the group at the beginning of lockdown as a way to deal with the challenges of the unfolding coronavirus crisis and to stay connected with folk through sound.
They have since recorded 46 albums of shonky ambient drone, weird dance, glittering electro-plop and malformed tudor synth shuffle. They’ll probably stop at 50…. and hope not to have to start again.
