0121queercore is a DIY promotion project based in Birmingham, dedicated to building a renewed home for queercore and its diverse range of sounds. Active since late 2024, it has quickly become a core part of the city’s emerging underground queer punk scene, collaborating with other local organisers and promoters to lay solid foundations for a music community where queer and marginalised people can take up space unapologetically. It’s not just about the music, but about holding each other up as a community and creating space to breathe, scream, and recharge to some riffs.
