Melanie Wheeler is an interdisciplinary artist and producer based in Nottingham.
For this two-part Cyanotype printing and costume making workshop, Melanie invites participants to print designs on fabrics and create wearable costumes. This will involve using natural materials, chemicals, fabrics, water and the Sun to create unique and experimental prints, then with a series of folding, lacing or weaving techniques craft the fabrics into costumes to be worn and paraded around the festival.
Please note, entry to these workshops is included in the Supersonic Festival ticket – a festival ticket for the relevant day (or the full weekend) is required!
