Message from Team Supersonic…
We’ve thought carefully about ticket pricing, and we want to make sure the festival remains accessible. We recognise that not everyone has equal access to live events and that the cost of entry is a barrier to some people. We are working to create an inclusive space which is accessible to all, regardless of their financial situation. This year, we’ll be working with our partners like Decolonise Fest to give away a % of free tickets to people in our music community who are on low wages or are unemployed.
SOLIDARITY TICKET – We know that some of our long-standing fans could afford to pay more. Inspired by the global “solidarity ticket” movement, we are also introducing a new voluntary tier ticket. So if you are able to invest in Supersonic through a solidarity ticket, you’ll be subsidising a % of free tickets for others, whilst also ensuring the good ship Supersonic keeps sailing for many future festival editions. OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED – We’ll be looking for Workshop proposals and Volunteer applications in the coming months, so there’s always a low-cost way to get involved with Supersonic.
We’re an independent festival, we achieve a huge amount through good will, hard work and amazing support from our community.
